Word Filled Wednesday Psalm 51:10

The purpose of Word Filled Wednesday is to share the WORD through a photo and a verse.
Like many of you, I've been spending time reflecting on the past year, and wondering what the next year will hold for us. I know many people sometimes enjoy coming up with a New Years resolution and beginning or renewing a commitment, but I've never been much of a fan of starting something on January 1 just because it's a new year. I do, however, encourage you to start something new, something better, something healthier just because it's time to do it! It could be today, it could be tomorrow - or maybe sometime in March, but when the time is right for you to change something, then start immediately!
My request each day is for God to renew me, and refresh me and to make my heart more like HIS.

Have a Happy New Year!

very well said. and i wholeheartedly agree... I tend to start things on January first though (typically goals though, not resolutions) because it's an easy to remember timeline.
Fyi- my word verification for this comment is mistymi. how cool is that?

That is one of my favorite verses! There's a praise song based upon it...have you heard it?

"Create in me a clean heart, O God
And renew a right spirit within me.
Create in me a clean heart, O God
And renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from Thy presence
And take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation,
And uphold me with a willing spirit.

I cry every time I sing that...such moving words. Thanks for giving me pause today. I enjoy your blog so much!

The picture is gorgeous. Did you take that one?

Blessings for the New Year...
