Word Filled Wednesday Isaiah 32:17

The purpose of Word Filled Wednesday is to share the WORD through photo and a verse. I hope you enjoy this and come back soon!

Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of righteousness is peace. The effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.

This photo of my pygora goat is one of my favorites. She's a momma goat, her name is Grace! (Sorry Farm Suite kid... but it's a good name for a goat too) Grace is a wonderful goat, she is patient and more often than not she's quiet. The day I took this photo, she was standing in the sunshine just soaking it all in. She even closed her eyes. Sometimes I feel like doing this. Just closing my eyes, and soaking in all the warmth of God and letting myself get overcome with peace. My prayer is you will have this peace that comes from righteousness. Because where things are right, there is peace. And where there is peace, there is quietness and confidence.

Very nice thoughts. I'm so lucky that even in the midst of the chaos of life my husband has helped me create a house that is full of peace.

Great verse - and I love that precious photo and the post that goes with it. Soaking up the Son...

You post beautiful words of wisdom... it's like those times when you go to church and you feel like the pastor is speaking directly to you... I love moments like that... even though 99% of time when something is shared in church with this kind of depth that touches me, I end up in a sobbing pile of goo. The last time that nearly happened was in Sarah's church in front of a hundred people (or less) that I didn't know... I'm such a chicken. Livy. =) LOL

Hey girl,
Beautiful wfw post!
Grace is so pretty! I had angora goats... but shearing them became a nightmare. Do you shear Grace? If so what do you do with her wool?
I made Prim santas out of mine.. used it for the hair and beards.
Happy wfw

Blessings Alexis...I love the combination of this verse: fruit of righteousness=peace with the effect being quietness & confidence forever!
How did I miss this! Great verse! Totally opposite of what my thinking says so I need to get it in line. I always thought of confidence as well spoken & versed with verbal strength, and quietness with meekness. Your sweet goat GRACE...soaking in the sun
makes me want to soak in God's Presence...your own rich words
add so much to your WFW! Enjoy WFW & thanks for your visit! I am inspired & my intent was to consolidate my posts & time in blog land with some of my favorite blog friends by doing it altogether! God is good all of the time! Thanks for the PEACE!

Wonderful verse and lovely photo. We visited the goats yesterday at a farm. It's a blessing to have peace, quietness, and confidence in our Lord.

The verse is one of my favorites.

And the goat is a beauty. I'm doin' that covetin' thing again...

Maybe next spring...instead of a chocolate bunny...What am I talkin' about??? Never ever give up chocolate!!

Instead of those nasty little marshmallow chicks, maybe I can convince my dear hubby that this little acre and a half NEED a couple sweet little nannies to occupy the sweet big Nana (I can almost taste the fresh mozzarella *sigh*).

Thanks for the nice comments on my wfw post. We think alike: You have some of the favorite links I had on my homesteading blog...I'm gradually bringing those posts to a family blog on blogger...along with pics of my chickies (the feathered ones & the ones without feathers).
