Word Filled Wednesday Psalm 128:2

The purpose of Word Filled Wednesday is to share the WORD through a photo and a verse.

Our family feels like we're eating the fruits of our labor lately. Our garden grew by leaps and bounds and we have potatoes, corn, carrots and cucumbers by the bucketload! This has allowed us to put away food for the winter. This is the first time I've ever gone through the whole process from beginning to end, and I'm telling you - it's such a HUGE blessing to us! Now when God speaks about "fruits of our labor" He isn't speaking specifically of carefully tended strawberry beds, He's speaking of many things we labor for. The work we do in our churches, with our small groups, in our mission opportunities, how we raise our children - He promises to bless and prosper the work we do! I am SO looking forward to the fruits of my labor! It makes all these years of "weeding" so worthwhile!

Happy Word Filled Wednesday!

Beautiful verse. We had a garden extravaganza this year too. We thought we were just planting a few veggies for our allergy baby (who can only eat organic) and voila! Laundry baskets full. :) I actually have a question about how you put your food away for the winter. Can I email you? Rebecca rnibb@hotmail.com

That picture makes me long for spring and summer time strawberries, so ripe and sweet! They are my absolute favorite fruit...

Thanks for sharing the photo and the verse... it is so good when God allows us to see some of the fruits of our labors, it motivates us to continue on!

Blessings!

Hi Alexis, those strawberries look delicious. Great photo and wonderful verse to go with it. I am so happy that God has not only provided but that He has provided abundantly for you.

Just stopping by to say thanks for your words or encouragement and prayers for my son. He is now recovering after his surgery, taking some daily walks and sitting up.

Thank you for your continued prayers.

Blessings,
