Word Filled Wednesday 1 Timothy 4:12

The purpose of Word Filled Wednesday is to share the WORD through a photo and a verse.

I am lost without my photo editor, but I am throwing one out there for you this week anyway! This is a photo of one of the young men I met at Church Camp this past week. To say the week was awe-inspiring would be a huge understatement. I don't even have words for it. This particular verse was one that we had learned the year before, and most of the youth had NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE! I was ashamed to realize I never recalled hearing or reading it either. If I had, I probably would have done things differently in my youth. My hope is that this verse will become WILDLY passed on to all those young people out there who struggle with their faith because they feel "too young" to be of any service to the kingdom of God. NONSENSE! Get out there and show us your stuff! We are proud of you and humbled by your open hearts and willingness to love Jesus publicly.

Happy Word Filled Wednesday!

Wow, very lovely photo to go with the verse. Precious reminder to serve our Lord in our youth days! May God bless all the youths in our midst and make them men and women after His own hearts. Thanks for sharing. Blessed WFW!

I thought of this verse last week when Rachel was at Mission Arlington serving the Lord with her whole heart. They shared their week w/ all of us last Sunday night and everyone was touched and encouraged to do more. God can do mighty things in all of us. Thanks for sharing this WFW today! Blessings.

It is a really great verse (& picture!) and I really pray that youth will really use it & not be ashamed to speak out for what they believe in! It is so easy to crush, not so easy to build up - but this verse is great! Happy WFW!

Oh, how I wish I would've heard this verse as a teenager. Although, unfortunately, it is possible I heard it and didn't think a thing about it, too. :(

Anyway, it is a great verse and one I hope many of our young people today would hear and focus on more.

Happy WFW!

What a great smile! It must be very difficult for young people with strong beliefs to be ignored by people who are older (and tend to think that they know better!!)

I am certainly thanking God for his protection this morning - the rainbow photo gave me some sense of calm.

Wonderful words of wisdom. My children are toddlers & early elementary age, however I am trying to teach them to serve God at the ages that they are.

Great verse and photo! My older son recently wrote "Got Jesus?" in sidewalk chalk on our newly paved street. It's neat to see young people of faith.

Awesome, awesome verse! All youth groups should make it their motto. :) I love those, "Got Jesus" shirts. I'm gonna have to get one.

Missed going to Camp this year as the Grandpa camper. Maybe next year.AS I was working on that verse last year I slightly modified it to say don't let any one look down on you because you are old. By the way, my newest eye opening, smack me along side the head, how come I've never seen this verse before is 3John:4. Probably because it is so true.
Nothing gives me greater joy than to know my children are walking in the truth.
